Ms. Iwanuk was born and raised in the Boston area in Massachusetts, United States. She’s been an educator since 2004 and has taught in the United States and Korea. She has earned degrees in many areas of education to support teachers, students and their families. Her most recent degree is a Master of Education in educational leadership. Ms. Iwanuk has been fortunate to serve in many roles in the schools she’s worked in: teaching assistant, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and principal. This is Ms. Iwanuk’s fourth year at KFS and her third year as the principal. She believes in the power of relationships and how they can drive the success of students and schools. When Ms. Iwanuk isn’t at school, she loves exploring Korea with her family, cooking, reading, and playing word games.
